Ok i'm totally new to linux and all of that stuff so this might be a newbie question.

KNOPPIX_V3.3-2003-11-14-EN wouldn't load from cd at all so i created a boot floppy.

So I start, and the floppy is excepted and starts to boot, the pinguin is visible and all those config things are starting, than comes the full screen knoppix logo and after a while (+/- 1min) it dissapears and goes back to the pinguin and boot/config stuff.

It says: Remove cd, close cdtray and hit RETURN or something,

When i've done that it shutsdown, just what it said it was going to do.

What do I have to do?

sorry for my english(I'm Dutch)

Thx in advance,

gerjan

Can you get it running in text-only mode by typing "knoppix 2" at the boot prompt ?
If that doesn't work you could check that the CD is ok by typing "knoppix testcd" instead.
