Knoppix v3.3 Auto-Shutdown

Tried using knoppix v3.3 at work, running off the live cd. Anytime I configure the network, the machine does an auto shutdown. Its not at a specific time either.

PC is only acting as a monitor. Network is a Static IP and does communicate on the LAN with no problems.

Has anyone had this happened to them? Or know the fix?

Could you put this thread into the hardware section ,and add details of the hardware you are using ?
