Hi, i'm a newbie in the world of linux.
I need help to configure my Skystar 2 under Knoppix.
I heard that the driver is included in 2.6 kernel.

Could you insert the FCC id of the modem and/or the exact model number/name with a link of an example ?
Maybe also names and models of IC used on the modem.
Because it may very well be that a complete solution can be found using the procedure of another brand of modem ,that is more common.
