Ndiswrapper or Linuxant

Has anyone been able to use ndiswrapper or driverloader with the live cd? I have a linksys wmp54g card that isn't supported by the live cd and found these 2 solutions. I was just wondering if it was possible to use these with the live cd (I know it will with a hd install, but I'm trying to avoid that). Let me know how this was accomplished. Thanks.
