hotmail email accout.. connection refused..

Hi, I can't login to hotmail with mozilla/firebird + knoppix.
Has anyone succeeded? or am I doing something stupid (apart from using a hotmail account to start with)

First thing that comes to mind...

When using a web based "login", most of them, that I know of, usually want to save the junk to your hard drive, so they can remember you the next time you come back, yeah, right [giggle]...

So, have you checked your "cookies" ? - are they enabled, or disabled ?

This is the only thing I can think of, hope it helps...
