Hello and Welcome to the Grand Opening of www.linuxnotjustforgeeks.org

Just a few features that I wanted to point out about this website.
This website has several useful features and here they are:

1. Java Chat room - If you prefer using an irc client we can be
located on the irc.ircstorm.net irc server on the channel
#linuxnotjustforgeeks. The Java client can be found on the Main Menu.

2. Forums - We have a variety of Forums for Linux discussion. I
encourage people new to Linux to ask questions and our more
experienced members to help these people along. My attitude is that
there is no such thing as a stupid question! A link to the Forums can
be found on the Main Menu.

3. Member Submission Article System - This system gives registered
users the ability to post news or articles. I encourage users to post
any news or articles related to Linux, Linux Forensics and Linux
Security. To submit an article just hit the Submit News links.

4. Member Web Link Submission System - This system gives registered
users the power to submit useful web links and it gives all users
access to those links. Visit the Web Links section to submit and view
Links.

5. Webmail Access - This feature enables registered users the ability
to access their POP3 e-mail over the web. You can find this feature in
your account profile.

6. SMS Service - As a public service from this site you can send SMS
text messages to any cell phone in the United States or Canada for
free.

7. Free E-mail with your very own linuxnotjustforgeeks.org e-mail
address!

8. Many More!!!!!!

I hope you enjoy the site as much as I enjoyed creating it. Now it is
up to you the users to make it successful. I will soon be adding a
ranking system. By participating in the site you gain points, which
you will notice in your user profile. I will be adding a ranking
system based on points earned. You don't get anything other than
recognition, but you can take great pride that you are helping this
project succeed!

Thanks,
Ernie Baca
