only one cpu detected

hi,

I could boot knoppix 3.3 on my PC with an AMD-1200 -tbird.

Now I try booting it in exactly the same PC with only the slight difference that my CPU is an XP2000+ CPU

Now knoppix doesn't boot, I only got the error:
ERROR: only one processor found.

onyone an idea?
