Hi! I just installed Knoppix on my HD and noticed this little security issue:
If I power-down the system manually, it shuts off before unmounting HDD. When LILO boots, it forces a check on the hard disk. Then, after the check completes, it dumps at the root shell w/o so much as a password. Is this intentional? Is this root shell limited?
