Out of frequency range

When I put the flonix cd in by computer, the ''introduction'' start but immediatly after, my screen go black and the message out of frequency range appear. how can I solve this probleme?
My moniteur is a Compaq MV540

Try knoppix vsync=60 at boot prompt.
