Can you please help me in trying to make my modem working. Its make is Lucent win modem

But, if you are trying to get it working in KNOPPIX this probably will not be possible without a little remastering. (Sorry!) Good news is...This is a perfect time to get yourself a Hardware Based Modem and never see these problems again!! (Ha!)

There is a derived from Knoppix from Brazil which tend to support lot of winmodem, it's very light under 200Mb: Kurumin (http://www.kurumin.org/)

It may help yourself to discover which version of "driver" from linuxant you can use for your winmodem.
