Help! Problem using libxml2 in Knoppix app built on RedHat.

Though my Red Hat and Knoppix libxml2 are both version 2-2.5.6, I get a segment fault at the first call into the libxml2 library when running an app built on Red Hat and run on Knoppix 3.2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
