HP omnibook xt 1500 KNOPPIX_V3.3-2004-02-16-EN doesn't work

I have started from CD rom.First screen comes f2 help and boot:
CD works with my pc.Cd has no problem.
With my pc I have 64 mb graficcard 512mb ram it loads for a moment but later on gives an error as could'nt start kdeinit.Check your installation.Not enough memory.

How can I solve the problem?

What happens if you type


knoppix mem=512M

at the boot prompt ?

Later on screen is black.I did not understand.I have tried with my laptop.

Not with pc.

I will try with pc later on.

What is the problem with laptop why doesn't work with knoppix.
I will be crazy.

Hi alls!

I have downloaded another knoppix version and it is great.I have succeeded!Since I tried to make a bootable floppy disc and the necessary file inside knoppix was broken.This was the reason.

I have had sound card driver error.I could not find solutions.I have VIA VT8233 [AC97 Audio Controller]I could not listen anything with xp prof.

I have tried with knoppix and thanks to knoppix and linux.It has recognized my sound driver and i can listen and download music.

It was the first time in my life to try linux.My experience was wonderful.
Games,open office etc.Thanks to all who have developed linux.
