KDE 3.2.1 is in unstable...

so I hope klaus will find time to add it to the next knoppix release ;-)
adding the 2.6.3 kernel, I think this will be a great release. go for it, knoppix 3.4!!! maybe even 4.0? A new stable kernel, new KDE release, lotz of new packages (Kontact, better konqueror, nice installer)

3.2.1 is in unstable? It was only released today. Did you mean 3.2? I'll certainly have to check that out. If it's true, then why the heck have we been waiting weeks for 3.2 to enter unstable and only now to see 3.2.1 enter unstable on the same day of it's release?

Well after doing a "apt-get -s -t unstable upgrade" i do indeed see the following 3.2.1 packages listed in unstable:

3.2.1 appears to be making it's way into unstable though there's surely more packages to add. Still, the speed with which this happened is remarkable given the usuall speed with which kde upgrades make it into unstable and especially in light of that fact (AFAIK) that 3.2 never made it there. Last time I looked it was in experimental. Somone let me know if I missed it's move into unstable.

It looks like the whole 3.2.1 is in there now. But you're right, 3.2 was in Experimental up until these came out. I guess they feel these are finally stable enough. :D

cool isnt it... I saw KDE 3.2.1 was already in unstable on sunday morning!!! so they where 2 days before on the KDE project's announcement...

I guess they didnt like 3.2, and 3.2.1 had the fixes they wanted it to have, so they delayed 3.2 and put 3.2.1 in unstable immediately.

hope it gets into knoppix asap....
