For some reason i am unable to mount my Fat32 partition... here's what i tried to do:
knoppix@ttyp0[knoppix]$ sudo fdisk -l
Disk /dev/hda: 30.0 GB, 30005821440 bytes
240 heads, 63 sectors/track, 3876 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 15120 * 512 = 7741440 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 2708 20472448+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hda2 2709 3875 8822520 f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hda5 2709 3875 8822488+ b Win95 FAT32
knoppix@ttyp0[knoppix]$ sudo mount -t vfat /dev/hda5 /mnt/hda5
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda5,
or too many mounted file systems
knoppix@ttyp0[knoppix]$
modprobe vfat returns "modprobe: Can't locate module vfat"
does this mean that vfat is not loaded at startup? If so how can i manually setup the config file or make a proper floppy boot disk? please help! thanks in advance
