Smart Boot Manager

Has anyone got SBM to work and HOW. thus far I havent had no luck. :?:

yes i have it working on my old p1 laptop. it can even boot CD's now, soething it never could without.
i downloaded the static binary.
I then put binary on a floppy together with the install script.
now I booted a floppy linux (tomsrtbt was my choice) removed the now un necesary floppy.
logged in as root.
mounted the floppy with the two files.
did a cd to the floppy.
did a chmod +x on the installer
ran the installer while pionting it to the mbr of my hdd.
was i clear? if not ask further
