Have you tried just throwing a standard knoppix CD in to see what happens? I have no idea what the hardware specs on an Xbox are right off...

Haven't checked Knoppix 3.4 but the earlier ones don't seem to have support for FATX.

Xboxes look for a physical error on the disk itself to verify authenticity. At a bare minimum, the Xbox would need a modchip and hacked firmware.

i gave it a go on my grandsons xbox but it seems that mr gates has some anti-linux softwarebuilt in to it thoug someone on one of the xbox sites said it can be defeated, if i new what i was doing i would love to give it a go but unfortunately i'm just a hardware hack and don know much about coding.......at 54 it just seems like i dont have time to learn how to write code ( old 'n' stoopid)
