difficulty in installing knoppix

the old distribution had a command to install knoppix but the latest one's were unable to install using the command knx-hdinstall

please specify which version of Knoppix (3.3 or 3.4 or earlier; + date), thisi nfo is shown as Knoppix boots.

Have you tried the other installer 'knoppix-installer' (although why this one would work but the other one doesn't make sense to me, but alas I'm still very much a newb).

If you are using the 3.4 c't version (ahem, not sure of the date, but there has only been one 3.4 c't version) then the installer is missing. You can use wget to download - do a quick search of the forums with something like 'install c't'.
