How do I search man pages? Is it possible to search all man pages?

Not sure about searching them all but once you open the man page eg. man man if you use the / key you will get a search: line at the lower left where you can type in your search term and then enter to search for it. And now that I look at the page the -k & -f options may be what you are looking for.

You can also search man and info pages from Konqueror as well. Just type "man:" or "info:" (without quotes) into the address bar, followed by whatever. I think you can search from there, as well.

Something more general (and the command line) is apropos. For example, typing

apropos video brings up a shedload of man pages apropos thinks might fit the bill (with a short description of the application) you can then type

man (something that seems as though it might be useful)

to bring up the man page. No brackets, of course!
