i am using msn with xp

I just downloaded knoppix but i don't know how to go online?

MSN doesn't work with wine

other connections don't work

can someone help me get online :(

Just trying to clear things up... you can connect the internet in knoppix? Like, web pages and stuff?

To use MSN in Linux, I recommend one of the native MSN programs. Gaim is my current favourite, and it comes with Knoppix

when i change the protocol to msn it still can't connect

What kind of connection do you have? I am on a home network connecting to the internet through another computer that is running XP, computers are connected nic to nic via crossover cable and my connection was automatically detected. No problems connecting to msn. The auto detection is actually quiet impressive.
