Mouse Not Working - Compaq Notebook

Hello, I have a Compaq EVO N600c and when I boot using Knoppix I'm finding myself with a NONE working mouse. I my notebook I have two input devices 1. the touchpad, 2. the pointer. Neither of these are working....any ideas? Please help.

I have the exact same problem, but with a Compaq Armada 3500. I have tried using the mouse nub, a mouse plugged into the ps/2 port, and a usb mouse.

try in the boot options:

knoopix nowheel

Works flawlessly in may Armada M300
