I moved this post (and your other one) out of tips and tricks. That forum is used to post advice, shourtcuts, and hacks that you have found helpful. The information that you are looking for is stored in /etc/fstab. If it is not mounting after the hdinstall you may want to boot up from the cd and copy the cd's version of fstab to /etc on your hard drive.

Look for the link in the /home/user_name/.kde/Autostart directory and delete it.
