useradd dont works on remastered knoppix

Hi friends I had remastered a Knoppix version 3.3, removed many packages and also update using apt-get. All looks well but when I try to add a user I have this error message:

useradd: cannot rewrite password file

I also saw this error message with an old version of knoppix-std...

I found the error ... :) I forget to remove passwd- shadow- group- gshadow-
