Lookup problem

hi @ all,

i've just installed knoppix on my notebook and i worked real nice =)
then i wanted to connect to the internet via adsl.
i started the pppoeconf tool with root permission an configured everything.
pon worked, ifconfig showed me a adress, resolv.conf had 2 nameservers.

but here the strange thing: no resolving
example:

ping www.google.de
traceroute www.web.de

don't know what i did wrong. hopefully someone can help me ;)
