another neat one is KANOTIX.

based on Debian/sid - optimal for HD install

There's tons - everything from mini distributions (Feather, Damn Small, Luit, Flonix), to admin and security distros (Local Area Security, INSERT, Knoppix-STD), to new and revolutionary ones (Morphix). Enjoy :)

Also, some of the more commercial distros (e.g., SuSE) now have live versions as well.

Yep, as I was looking on the Mandrake site I found their version of a live CD. Ya just has ta look I suppose.

At least "Cool Linux" is based on RedHat, IMO not quite as cool as Knoppix though :-D
