I am new to Knoppix.I am using M.Gagne's cd that is supplied with his book(supposedly Knoppix).i can load Linux o.k. but i cannot use the cd player(kscd,noathun).i booted with no boot parameters.My puter is:
P11-486,512 ram-16gig and 80 gig HD's,DVD-ROM(matshita),CD-RW
(samsung-sw232b).I tried listening to music(mp3,wav) via HD and via an original CD.The cd player shows up and i see the song that i selected on the cd player but no music,(sound,speakers,etc all work).any DETAILED help.thank you.
