I know it's on the forum... can't find it... I have 1 part. ntfs, don't want to change it, just to copy the knoppix on the hdd and run it with a floppy when rebooting.. how to do it?

If you type "dual boot xp" in the search camp, this was the second option

You can't. Knoppix isn't going to run from an ntfs partition.

Hmmm, you are right. If you don't want to modifiy your ntfs partition. Then, no way, you are dammed to run Windoze and use Knoppix from CD.
Two more options:
Install another HD in your machine. And install knoppix there
Run knoppix from an USB drive:
- Flash Memory USB drives: you will need 64 Mb, at least. Cost US$30 - US$40
- USB - IDE Enclosure : US$50 plus the cost of an IDE HD
