I tried to put a custom kernel into knoppix, but apparently the kernel i build is too big,: when i mount boot.img and try to replace the vmlinuz with my bzImage, i get an error there's no space left on the device. So, how do you go about adding a custom kernel, or creating a boot.img that's not too big.

ps, i need to use this kernel, a smaller kernel is not an option(it's 1.1 meg atm), a 2.8 mb boot floppy is an option, can't figure out how to create a boot.img though.

thanks in advance

ok apparently i missed something about isolinux, the cd boots my 2.4.26 kernel now, but it doesn't boot knoppix, it boots my slackware installtion on my harddisk.. any idea on what I'm missing?
