Trouble in Gis-Knoppix

i got an distribution that has som software i want pre-installed. Well it worked....
now i would like to make my net card work properly.
i installed it..... restarted the machine..... but it only works if i gave the cmds:
insmod rhinfet
netcardconfig
please....i need some help.
