As per the wiki for Poor Man's install I copied the contents of the ISO to a linux partition. I am able to boot up Knoppix using Grub2 of Linuxmint. But how do I save Knoppix settings?

I have gone thru Poor man's install wiki. Will this work with Knoppix 7.0.4? If yes, how do we save the settings ?
