i'm interested in knowing more about persistence as well from a flashed usb perspective. It seems that things like browser history, cookies etc are saved. Where are these saved?

similar sort of thing for me - no minimise maximise X in top right corner, and cannot move the window around.

First time I ran off usb, it knew it was first time.
Second time, it remembered my previous settings (ie wireless name, password details, etc)
So first question - does it save these settings into...
