By the way, my version of Knoppix is 6.7.0 . If you are using 6.7.1 that may account for some of the differences.

It would appear that the flash drive may not be getting formatted correctly so maybe the drive is bad.
I assume that the warnings I referred to earlier are indicating that the device is not properly...

Well, it is either a hardware or BIOS problem. I connected the drive to a friends laptop and was able to successfully boot to Knoppix 6.7.
