I would issue
cd /home/knoppix/ndiswrapper-1.58
sudo make uninstall
make clean
make
sudo make install
cd /home/knoppix
sudo ndiswrapper -i Driver/LSTINDS.INF
sudo ndiswrapper -m
sudo...

You have to be root if you want to uninstall kernel modules. Therefore issue
sudo make uninstall instead of 'make uninstall'.
