err, that's home=scan
Hey all, I am using Knoppix 3.3 (yeah, I know - time to download and burn 3.4) and have a thumbdrive. I set up the thumbdrive as my persistant home directory, and boot with the "knoppix /home-scan" prompt. Seems to be working.
Anyway - I have a proxy server, and need to configure proxies under Mozilla each time I boot into Knoppix. Is there a way I can keep my Mozilla (and Konqueror) browser configurations in my home directory so I don't have to retype the proxy servers? I see my .mozilla under /mnt/sda1. Isn't that where my preferences are stored for Mozilla? Shouldn't that cover it?
err, that's home=scan
I don't know. I've been experimenting with persistent home on a dedicated HD partition, and I know that my Mozilla bookmarks are getting saved. I don't use a proxy, so I'm not sure about that aspect, but I do know that at least some settings in Mozilla are getting saved.
