wow... i actually got it working... in fact, that's how i'm posting this right now. for any skeptics, yes, it is possible! maybe microsoft doesn't suck so much... or perhaps i shouldn't jump to any conclusions.
i'm trying to get my microsoft mn-730 to connect to my network using ndiswrapper. it seems to locate it ok and everything, but there are a few things i need to change that won't, mainly that it says the IEEE is 802.11g when i need it to be 802.11b. but i haven't seen anything anywhere that tell me how to change that setting.
maybe it's not at all possible, but i'm not able to find anything about this at all, so if anyone can offer any suggestions i'll be willing to take them, cause i don't have much of an idea what i'm doing.
thanks
