Saving config files to floppy disk

I'm doing a project on Knoppix running from a CLI for those with less than 80MB of memory, and I am trying to save my config changes to floppy, so anyone can load their changes, e.g. Samba, DNS, DHCP, IP address, subnet mask, etc without having to reconfigure all of this every time Knoppix restarts.
My project is based on Linux Tutorials using Knoppix for newbies.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

There is a script called saveconfig.

Also if you issue the parameters "knoppix floppyconfig" at boot-prompt, automatically a script called "knoppix.sh" is started from the floppy.

    saveconfig creates such a script.

    Hope that helps,

    cu

    Fabian

    PS: Nice name .
