How to fix OpenOffice menus to English only?

Using 3.4 the latest release 5-17, and noticed the bug where the some open office menus are German.

Any way to correct this?

I'll tell you what I did but it's probably not the best way to handle it, I removed the default install of OOo and downloaded and installed from the OOo's website. If you follow the directions they give then you'll have a net install when you're done so it should also work for any other users that may need it.

Thats sounds fine, is there a single apt-get remove command to uninstall it?

I couldn't uninstall with apt-get had to go into package manager and uninstall both instances of OOo through there since apt kept telling me there was no OpenOffice package.

Try...

apt-get remove openoffice.org-de-en

and then

apt-get install openoffice.org
