    Question about Compaq nx5000 hardware

    Compaq/HP nx5000 (1.4ghz Centrino, all new stuff)

Knoppix 3.4 booted great - detected (via lspci) my Broacom 10/100/1000 BCM5705M but didn't load drivers for it... also detected the INtel IPW2100 WLAN adapter, but again, nothing loaded for it...

Tried in kernel26 and still had the same problem - it at least loaded the broadcom drivers, but still didn't want to work

    Here is my output files

    dmesg

    /mnt stalled in konqueror

installed knoppix 3.6, almost everithing looks ok, but when accessing /mnt via konqueror it gets stalled (the konqueror window) for aproximately 2 minutes. Tried commenting /dev/fd0 in /etc/fstab, but fail remains the same. Any idea?
PS: tried with kanotix and same problem
