Its there any way to know the size of the final iso with the uncompressed files.... What is the percent of compression of the files when i make an iso???:..

I ask this because im trying to make an iso of 150Mb +-, and i dont want to make a new iso just for know is the size is ok....

How can i know the iso size in base of the un compressed files???

the iso its is not compressed, it is the linux file system that is compressed and stored as a file on the iso..

after you have done the compression and before you run mkisofs go to the directory you are about to make the iso from and type 'du -h' and it'll show you how big it will be. (this should be done from the directory that has the folders "KNOPPIX" and "boot")

I understand you but no it isn't possible. You can estimate it will compress by about %40.
