HP Omnibook
Don't laugh.
I'd like to install knoppix (or any flavor of Linux) on an old HP Omnibook 2100 I've got laying around gathering dust. It's got 64MB of memory and a 20MB HD - which was acceptable for NT workstation, but everything crawls or doesn't load at all. Has anyone tried anything like this?

Hey wBeckham, a HD installation of Knoppix would require at least 2.5 GBs of HD space and at least 128mb for a swap partition if you do not have more than 512mbs or RAM (which I would assume is the case). Maybe you could try other distros like "Damn Small Linux" which runs on much less! Hope this helps!
