Dunno if you can format NTFS w/ any Linux tools or not. Shouldn't matter tho- the XP installer has to be able to format a drive itself so simply point the installer to your partition and let it do the formatting for you.
I have 1 40gb drive partitioned into two of 20gb, and I want to format one of these for installing windows xp home, how can I format it in ntfs and not linux format?
