    One question away from a fully working laptop!!!!!

    The only thing left to configure is my sound card .


    I have a Compaq 900 laptop w/ Acer laboratories Inc. [ALi] M5451 PCI South Bridge Audio. Does anyone know how to get this thing configured ??? Also, If anyone have any questions regarding installing Debian on a Compaq 900 laptop and actually have it WORK don't hesitate to post me.

    Open a root console and run sndconfig.
