    serial mouse problem.

    Hi,

I am a new Knoppix user, and I'm using Knoppix 3.4 with kernel 2.4.
My mouse doesn't work in both X graphical interface and text console.
I have tried to configure my mouse with "mouseconfig" but none of configurations were successfull.
My mouse model is A4Tech two keys without wheel connected to serial port COM2.

    thank you.

    And what tells the section:

    Code:
    Section "InputDevice"
            Identifier	"USB Mouse"
            Driver	"mouse"
            Option	"Device"	"/dev/input/mice"
            Option	"SendCoreEvents"	"true"
            Option	"Protocol"	"IMPS/2"
            Option	"ZAxisMapping"	"4 5"
            Option	"Buttons"	"5"
    EndSection
    in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4?

Of course you look only for 'Driver "mouse"' - not USB Mouse etc.
