Okay, I've found out how to do that. KNOPPIX->Configure->Create persistent home...

Hi,
I got a copy of Knoppix 3.2 at CeBIT and even took a couple of pictures of Klaus
But in all this excitment I forgot to ask him how to use the persistent home feature in Knoppix 3.2.
Could anyone help me out? Thank you in advance!
Regards.

What seems odd is that "persistent home" and "save configuration" are at least in part redundant - saveconfig saves parts /home/knoppix/.kde whereas "persistent home" saves all of /home/knoppix - not a "clean" concept...
Yup, but saveconfig saves to a diskette whereas persistant home saves to the local hdd, right?
I've never used persistant home, just wondering if it'll save your home only to a linux partition?
