uh ok here's my situation:

i have windows installed on a partition who takes 50% of my harddrive.

and now i want to install knoppix on the second parition but i dont want to erase my new partitions and create 2 new partition with the knoppix-install thingie...

please can someone help me?

Are you saying that you have 2 partitions...one with windows installed and one that is free...and you want to install knoppix on the second partition? If so you don't need to touch your windows partition. But you should really set aside a small portion of the second partition for swap space.
