text terminal in Knoppix 3.4 ?? help

hello, i'm new to knoppix, and I'm using it to fix a problem i have with my computer. But in order to fix my problem, the first step is to use a text terminal , found in the "K" menu.

My problem is, i can't find a text terminal, where is it located at? Thanks guys

The console I think is present in the deskbar, otherwise hit <Alt-F2>konsole

Should be an icon that looks like a monitor in the toolbar.
