Hi,
I realize that I'm very new to this forum, but I hope someone can help me out.
I did a download of Knoppix 3.4 ...burned the iso without a hitch...put the disk in my laptop. Everything seemed to go well until after it stared looking for the pcmcia card... at that point it locked up
So, I pulled the card... reset the laptop (a toshiba ) and Knoppix booted just fine.
My question is: How do I go about finding Knoppix (linux?) drivers for the card which is an Intel Pro Wireless Lan 2011b. (Bearing in mind that even Intel doesn't support it any longer...)
Any help that anyone can give me would be really appreciated. I always wanted to try linux but just didn't have the spare unit or time to do a full blown system. I'd really like to get away from MS windows... but it has to be fully functional before I can make the break.
