Netowrk Card not working in Windows XP after Knoppix booting

hi

yesterday i booted knoppix 3.6 from the CD and played around with it. Now when i was trying to connect to internet fron knoppix it found eth0 but the connection was not made. I did manual check but the driver for the ethernet card on my Laptop was installed.

After trying several times, I booted back to Windows XP and now my Ethernet Card its not working???????

Can someone help me with that?

My guess is this is just a coinidence. Assuming this is a home network have you tried rebooting your modem and router (if you have one) and checking the physical connections?
