    1.boot
    2.demos
    3.KNOPPIX
    4.auto run
    5. ms autorun
    6.cd-rom
    7.index
    8.autorun ms dos file
none look like image type files to me. was expecting bin.cue..
only one that looked promossing was knoppix file in the knoppix folder 708.256kb created a image of it and it was about 690kb. burnt it and it dont work.. tried burning all to cd. any help much appreciated.

    the knoppix.iso is ONE file.
for some reason some programs seem to think they should be unpacked (winrar, if i remember correctly) they should NOT, just burn entire download as image. .iso is the original images for CD (.img is usual for floppies but could be CD...).
bin cue are to 90% for ripped files...

If nero is too complicated for you, try CDBurnerXPpro, it's freeware.

    or DeepBurner.

Dunno about nero6, but in version 5.5, you just pick "burn image" from the "Files" menu; there's no need to start a new project/compilation.
