    Nvidia no X

    Hi

    I have a Nvidia MX440 and am unable to get X to start. On my previous card i used to enter knoppix "xmodule=vesa", does not work here now. Any cheatcodes to enter to get Nvidia to work off DVD ?

    got it

    oops should have checked all the cheatcodes first, "knoppix xmodule=fbdev" works great.
