Why Knoppix is auto create the /etc/fstab in every boot ???

Hi !

I installed Knoppix to HDD.
But it is create the /etc/fstab in every boot.

How to I prevent it ?

If you use lilo as bootloader add nofstab to the append line in /etc/lilo.conf , save the file and run lilo by typing lilo or /sbin/lilo
You need to do this as root.
